- Challenge Period: Oct. 15 – Dec. 17.
- The class with most number of Sundays which meets the criteria will win a free lunch on Jan. 7th.
- Criteria: 90% of students plus one teacher in classroom and attendance submitted by 10:55 am.
Dress Code

Student Pickup
Grades 1-3: 2:15 – 2:30 pm. If you need to pickup up child early, please go to the Coordinator’s desk and pickup before 2 pm. Between 2 and 2:15 pm, students are learning how to pray and it is disruptive when students are picked up during this time.
Grades 4-12: 2:30 pm. Several parents of students in Grade 4-6 have been waiting in the hallway on 2nd floor, which is a safety issue and makes it difficult for staff to move tables, carts, etc. Parents with children in Grades 1-3 who want to pick up older siblings from 2nd floor are requested to wait until 2:30 pm on main floor in the Atrium (between Zainabiyya Hall and Gym).
Students who are not picked up by 2:40 pm will need to be signed out from 2nd floor Student Lounge. Parents will need to enter from Gate of Prophet (s) Door #3. Please do not delay as volunteers have family commitments after madrassah.
Pizza Lunch Program
Registration for Term 1 Pizza program is closed. For those who have signed up, pizza will, inshaAllah, be served starting this Sunday on the following ten (10) Sundays: Oct. 15, 22, 29, Nov. 5, 12, 19, 26, Dec. 3, 10, 17. If there are extra slices, students can purchase them onsite on a first come, first served basis for $2/slice…. exact change required.
Charity Campaign: Sponsor an Orphan
Many thanks to parents/students/volunteers who have donated. Our goal is to sponsor several orphans in Iraq. The cost per orphan is now $1200 per year which includes all living, educational, and medical expenses. We’ll combine donations from 2 or more classes to sponsor an orphan and attempt to sponsor an orphan who is the same age as the students in the class, e.g., grade 1 to sponsor a 5 year old, grade 2 to sponsor a 6 year old, etc. We will share info about the sponsored orphan with the students so they can form a connection and empathize. Kindly support this initiative by sending a donation for this program.
Key Upcoming Dates
Oct. 22: Fire Drill
Nov. 5: Timetable change due to Daylight Savings Time End.
