We send our condolences to the Imam of our time, Imam Muhammad al-Mahdi (ajtf) and to all believers on the shahadat anniversary of our 6th Imam, Imam Ja’far as-Sadiq (a).
InshaAllah, classes will be held as usual on May 5 starting 10:45 am. Parents are requested to bring child(ren) on time to get the full benefit and avoid disrupting the class.
This Sunday, ISIJ is holding a “Visit My Community” show starting at 11:30 am in Zainabiya hall. Parents are encouraged to visit the show after dropping child(ren) off for classes. InshaAllah, we will showcase our school’s highlights and samples of our programs at the Jaffari Islamic Study Committee (JISC) booth. The Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be conducted at 2:30 pm; the AGM includes a report of Al-Haadi Study Centre. See details of both events in Community Outreach section, below.
Due to the ISIJ events this Sunday, there will be more people inside the centre and more cars in the parking lot …. for student safety, please be mindful of this when arranging meeting for pickup.
Outstanding assessments/assignments
Please ensure students complete assessments by May 12 in order to be reflected in the final report. Students in Grade 12 will not be able to graduate if criteria communicated at start of the year is not met. Students in grades 9-11 who receive LA (limited achievement, i.e., <60%) in Dinyat Term 1, or Term 2 will not be able to move to next grade unless missed assignments are completed via Tarbiyah Digital Portal (TDP) by July 31st.
