InshaAllah, our last day of classes will be held on Sunday, June 18th. Pizza lunch will be provided to all who have signed up. This Sunday is the last day for students in Grades 1-5, 6A, and 7A to redeem reward stamps for gifts.
Year end report cards are available via parents portal on www.al-haadi.ca using family login and password. If you have any questions regarding the report, please send an e-mail to the class e-mail id, cc admin@al-haadi.ca, subject “Report”.
Please return Tarbiyah storybooks or Band C-F textbooks this Sunday. Quran Manuals can be returned provided they have not been written in or damaged. Other books do not need to be returned.
Grades 10 & 11, an email will be sent to parents if child received an LA (limited achievement) on any Tarbiyah module. Students will need to complete lessons via Tarbiyah Digital Platform by July 31 in order to move to next grade in Sept.
2022/23 Awards & Graduation Event: Saturday, June 24, 2023 JCC Zainabiyya Hall, 10:45 am – 1 pm.
All students, parents, grandparents, and volunteers are cordially invited to our Awards and Graduation event to celebrate student and volunteer achievements, graduation of our Grade 12 students, and hear highlights of the past year and plans for next year. InshaAllah, awards, gifts, chicken & fries meal will be provided.
Many thanks to all parents and volunteers who have already RSVPed. Others, please do so today using the link below so we can ensure sufficient quantity of gifts, meal, etc. Please submit the form even if you are not able to attend the event.

Logistics:
– Graduates to arrive by 10:15 am (in ante room between Masjid & Zainabiya hall)
– Students & guests to arrive by 10:30 am (females to enter by Door #1, males to enter by Door #2) so everyone can get settled and we can start promptly at 10:45 am.
– Students to sit with classmates… see sign for the class in the hall. Grades 1-4 to sit on the ladies side.
– All students who attend will, inshaAllah, receive a gift voucher.
– Islamic dress code is mandatory; baligha female students to wear abbaya, boys to wear long sleeve shirt and long pants.
– Grades 1-4 & CC students will go to classrooms on main floor after first part of ceremony (approx. 12 noon), to eat lunch and do activities. If parents would like to take Grades 1-4 students home after 1st part, please advise the Teacher.
– Lunch for all other students and guests will be provided when the ceremony ends, around 1 pm. .
Charity Campaign Update – new package for Qurbani has been added (see details below):
This is the last week of our charity campaign in collaboration with Zahra Foundation. Please donate for any of the following causes. Tax receipts will be provided by The Zahra Foundation.
During checkout, please specify child’s dinyat class, e.g, D6A, D9B, etc. so the donations can count towards the class.

Community Service Award
Volunteering hours by students June 1, 2023 – May 31, 2024 will count towards the upcoming year’s Community Service Award so students are encouraged to maintain a record of volunteering activities.
Key Dates:
- June 24: Saturday; Year end awards & graduation event (10:30 am – 1:30 pm; JCC)
- July 31: Grade 10 & 11 students to complete lessons to pass in order to move to next grade
- July 31:Google Classrooms will be reset; make copy of work prior to July 31 if you wish to have a copy
- 1: Registration open for returning students and students entering Grade 1
- 15:Registration open for new students entering Grades 2-11
- Aug 31:Access to Tarbiyah Digital Portal for Grades 7-12 expires
- 10:1st day of classes 2023/24, inshaAllah
