2022/23 Awards & Graduation Event: Saturday, June 24, 2023 JCC Zainabiyya Hall, 10:45 am – 1 pm.
All students, parents, grandparents, and volunteers are cordially invited to our Awards and Graduation event to celebrate student and volunteer achievements and hear highlights of the past year and plans for next year. InshaAllah, awards, gifts, chicken & fries meal, and treats will be provided.
Kindly submit the RSVP and year end feedback form using the link below by Wed. June 14 so we can ensure sufficient quantity of gifts, meal, etc. Please submit the form even if you are not able to attend the event.

Pizza Lunch Program June: June 11, and 18
For those who signed up pizza will be served during the above dates.
If there are extras those can be purchased for $2.50 per slice. Please bring exact change.
Toiletries Drive
Many thanks to all who donated toiletries last Sunday. Alhamdulillah, our grades 9, 10, and 11 students went on a field trip on June 4th to sort the items and load boxes for families supported by United Muslim Women of Canada (UMWC).
Charity Campaign Update – new package for Qurbani has been added (see details below):
Our charity campaign continues in collaboration with Zahra Foundation. The class which raises the most funds will win a prize. Please donate for any of the following causes. Tax receipts will be provided by The Zahra Foundation.
During checkout, please specify child’s dinyat class, e.g, D6A, D9B, etc. so the donations can count towards the class. the class that has raised the most funds by June 13 will be announced on Awards day.

Community Service Award
This year’s challenge period was completed on May 31, 2023. Names of students who have earned the award will be announced on Awards day. Volunteering hours by students June 1, 2023 – May 31, 2024 will count towards the upcoming year’s Community Service Award so students are encouraged to maintain a record of volunteering acivities.
Key Dates:
- June 14: submit form to rsvp for Award/Grad event & provide feedback
- June 24: Saturday; Year end awards & graduation event (10:30 am – 1:30 pm; JCC)
