We hope everyone is enjoying the holidays.  Reminder, we will be closed on Jan. 2nd and will, inshaAllah, resume online classes on Jan. 9th. On behalf of the Al-Haadi team, we wish everyone strong faith, good health, safety, and a successful 2022.

Outstanding Term 1 assignments/assessments due by Jan. 9

All assignments/assessments need to be completed by Jan. 9th in order to be included in Term 1 Report Cards.  Students in Grades 6-12 who have not yet completed salaat/wudhu assessment, please arrange a time with your Dinyat teacher to complete the assessment… send a message to class e-mail id  or via Google Classroom.
Timetable starting Jan. 9

Starting Jan. 9th, the timetable will be adjusted for Grades 5-12(YF) since Dhuhr time will be later.  Students in Grade 5-12(YF) should join the Dinyat zoom meeting room at 12:20 for Salaat.

Al-Haadi 2021/2022 Charity Campaign

In collaboration with Az-Zahra Foundation, we pledge to provide WATER AID in remote areas and to SUPPORT ORPHANS, WIDOWS & VULNERABLE CHILDREN. See flyer below.

Total collected as of Dec. 28, 2021: $3,230. See below for the classes leaderboard.

During the holiday season, consider conducting fundraising activities and engage extended family and friends to get your child’s class on the leaderboard. Time spent by students for fundraising activities count towards Al-Haadi’s Community Service Award, so remind child(ren) to keep a log.

Donate online via https://zahrafoundation.ca/al-haadi/ and IMPORTANT, when checking out, donors should enter Al-Haadi’ and your child’s class (e.g. Al-Haadi D2A) in the Additional Information section, so we can track donations by class.

All donations will receive a tax receipt.  The winning class will win a prize at the end of the campaign!

Challenge Zone: Winter Break Challenge (Salat & Wudhu) 

Congrats to students who have been participating in the Winter Break Challenge.  Parents, please encourage your child(ren) to participate in our winter break challenge which is related to Salat and Wudhu. The challenge and form has also been posted in each Dinyat Google Classroom (Classwork/Challenge Zone).

Start date: Monday, Dec. 20, 2021
End date: Sunday, Jan. 2, 2022

Submit the log latest by Saturday, January 8, 2022.

1 stamp will be awarded for each day all daily requirements are achieved, plus 1 stamp for benefits objective; max. 11 stamps for Winter Break Challenge.
