Salaamun Alaykum,
Sunday, Dec. 19th, will be the last day of classes for 2021. We will be closed Dec. 26 and Jan. 2nd and will, inshaAllah resume classes on Jan. 9th. On behalf of the Al-Haadi admin team, we wish everyone a happy and safe holiday season.
Many thanks to all volunteers, students, and parents who provided input on whether to remain online or go onsite for Term 2. Due to the increasing number of people being affected with virus and insufficient volunteers to address all teaching and protocol requirements, we will remain online for Term 2 (i.e., until end of June, 2022) and avoid the risk to students, volunteers, and their families. We will, however, look into the feasibility of holding one or more workshops for students onsite in Term 2 if/when numbers go down and risk reduces.
This update includes:
1. Student Council’s 1st event
2. Charity Initiative – water aid & support for orphans, widows & vulnerable children
3. Challenge Zone: Winter Break Challenge – Dec. 20 to Jan. 2
4. Key Upcoming Dates
Student Council’s 1st event – Wiladat of Bibi Zainab (a)
Many thanks to all who joined the Dec. 12th online program to celebrate the wiladat of Bibi Zainab (a). Congratulations to our fabulous Student Council who did a super job hosting the event. Congratulations, also, to the five winners; prizes are being mailed.
