Dear Parent, Students & Volunteers,
Salaamun Alaykum,

We are very excited to start our new year Online via Google classroom and ZOOM this Sunday, September the 13th. Accept Google classroom invites ASAP if you haven’t done so already. ZOOM invites will be posted in your child’s google classroom for each Sunday’s class. Classwork and assignments as well as ALL announcements will be posted on google classroom.

We will have a second drive thru drop off AND pick up of Textbooks for Students in Grades 1-8 between 11:30am and 1pm Saturday September 12th
We would like to invite all parents with children in grades 1-8, to come to JCC this Sunday between 11am and 1pm to:
1. Drop off the Tarbiyah story books and textbooks that were loaned to them – Grades 2-8 to return Tarbiyah storybook or bandC or bandD student guide which were loaned last year

AND

2. Pick up their child’s textbooks (ONLY Grades 1-6)

Please have the following information ready upon arrival
1. Family ID, Names and Classes of each of your child

Enter via Bathurst ONLY and exit via New Israel. We will have volunteers that will guide you

QURAN CLASS TIMING FOR GRADES 5-11
As of September13th, we are extending Quran class time by 15minutes for grades 5-11. ZOOM Classes for these grades will start at 10:45am instead of 11:00am, so we can accommodate our quran curriculum for these grades that include recitation, memorization/hifdh and tafseer/ translation. We have noticed that many of our students are lacking in recitation fluency as well as memorization and we are hoping that by increasing our quran class we will be able to help the students out. We have also increased the class with three quran teachers.

Google Classroom Invites
Parents and Students, please accept google classroom invites. ALL invites have been sent out with the exception of Quran grades 3 and 4, who are still being tested for recitation levels.

We are recruiting volunteers who want to help make a difference, if you are not currently on our team and are interested in volunteering as teacher or admin or occasional helper please send an email to admin@al-haadi.ca. Feel free to ask others who may be interested. Training will be provided. Join us for a rewarding experience.
