Term 1 reports are available via Al-Haadi portal. Parents, please log in at www.al-haadi.ca, using family id and password and select Reports from left panel. Kindly share results with your child(ren) and recognize efforts resulting in Excellent Achievement (EA) or Satisfactory Achievement (SA).
Congratulations to all students who achieved Honours in one or more categories: 221 students for Makarimul al-Akhlaq, 229 for Dinyat, and 208 for Quran. MashaAllah, 116 students have earned honours in all three categories. InshaAllah, names of Honours recipients will be posted on the bulletin boards on 1st and 2nd floors in the next couple of weeks.
Students who received an LA or NR in any category can improve the mark for year end awards by completing missed assignments. For Dinyat Grades 5-12, students need to use Tarbiyah Digital Portal (TDP) to complete test questions for each of the lessons already covered in class… note that Grades 8-11 students will not be able to advance to next grade next year unless minimum 60% is achieved on all modules. Parental support is requested to encourage/remind students to complete missed work.
Parent-Teacher Conferences
All parents are encouraged to set up some time with teachers to discuss student’s progress. Send an e-mail to the Teachers using class e-mail id indicating a couple of dates/times to meet onsite at JCC on Sunday, Feb. 4 or Feb. 11 (for Quran 12 noon – 2:30 pm and for Dinyat 10:45 – 12 noon) or via phone call during the week This is especially recommended for any students who received LA (limited achievement) or NR (no report) in any category to discuss the results and jointly develop an action plan to help your child during term 2.

Calendar Change (Feb. 25):
We had planned to have a virtual celebration on Feb. 25th (15th Shabaan) on the assumption there would be a long program with wiladat and amaal the prior night. However, it looks like the program will end early hence inshaAllah, we will have onsite classes as usual on Feb. 25 along with tour of the Know Our Imam exhibition and fun activities.
Al-Haadi Bazaar: Many thanks to all parents/students who have donated items for the bazaar to raise funds to sponsor orphans. See below for schedule of classes assigned to bring donations and sell items for the bazaar. Parents, if you wish students to purchase snacks, please send cash … items range in price from about $0.50 to $1.50.
