Salaam,
Sept. 7 update:
We are excited for the start of the new year and that our new Student Council will, inshaAllah, host a booth at the Carnival, consisting of trivia games related to Ahlul Bayt(a) with prizes.
Based on parents’ feedback at year end survey, we’ve scheduled a meet the teachers session along with information sessions on Sept. 7. As well, ISIJ is holding a carnival to celebrate Idd e Zehra & wiladats of Prophet Muhammad (s) and Imam Jaffer as-Sadiq (a). Hence there will be no classes on Sept. 7. Students are to be supervised by parents at all times.
Agenda:
10:30 doors open
10:45 – 11:25: general info session for parents & students in Marhaba Hall B
11:35 – 12:20: meet the teachers session 1 with Q&A in classrooms
12:30 – 1:10: meet the teachers session 2 with Q&A in classrooms (for parents who have more than 1 child)
1:15 pm: salaat in Masjid e Ghadeer
2 – 7 pm: carnival sponsored by ISIJ
All parents and students are requested to attend our information sessions and to hear about our programs, assessments, and how we can partner for success.
Registration update:
Last couple of days to register for 2025-2026. InshaAllah, starting Sept. 1st we’ll start inviting students to Google Classrooms, sharing lesson material, sending request for textbooks based on registrations and making assigning classes for recitation. Anyone who registers after Aug. 31st will incur a 2-3 week delay in getting access to classrooms, textbooks, etc.
If you don’t receive two confirmations: (1) payment confirmation from ISIJ and (2) registration confirmation from Al-Haadi, please send an email to registration@al-haadi.ca so we can help you to complete the registration.
If you receive a class full message and you wish to place your child on the waiting list, submit the form using link below.
