Salaamun Alaykum.

Alhamdulillah, with the guidance of Allah (swt) and efforts by our dedicated volunteers, we were able to conduct activities for students to celebrate the wiladat of Imam Muhammad al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his reappearance). May Allah (swt) reward all who were involved in the 15th Shabaan activities.

The exhibits for “Know our Imam” exhibition prepared by staff and students were on display in the Atrium and were viewed by students of Al-Haadi, Al-QaAim, and As-Sadiq, as well as by community members during the wiladat programs at JCC on Feb. 24 & 25.

Many thanks for your donations….mashaAllah, a lot of toiletries and school supplies were collected. Students in grades 1-4 enjoyed decorating the bags and packing the donated items.  About 75+ bags were packed and have been dropped off at United Muslim Women of Canada Family Foodbank…inshaAllah, they will be delivered to familes in need at the Food bank’s next food delivery date, March 9.

Thanks, also, for your donations for Orphan campaign…to date, we have been able to sponsor 5 orphans in Iraq. The campaign continues to end of May.
