Classes as usual on Feb. 11; we’ll be closed on Feb. 18th due to Family Day long weekend.

Reminder for parents to review Term 1 reports by logging onto al-haadi.ca with family id and password. Kindly share results with your child(ren) and recognize efforts resulting in Excellent Achievement (EA) or Satisfactory Achievement (SA).

Students who received an LA or NR in any category can improve the mark for year end awards by completing missed assignments. For Dinyat Grades 5-12, students need to use Tarbiyah Digital Portal (TDP) to complete test questions for each of the lessons already covered in class… note that Grades 8-11 students will not be able to advance to next grade next year unless minimum 60% is achieved on all modules. Parental support is requested to encourage/remind students to complete missed work.

Parent-Teacher Conferences
Many thanks to all parents who have scheduled parent-teacher conferences to discuss Term 1 progress and suggestions for Term 2. For those who have not yet done so, please send an e-mail to teacher using the class email id. This is especially recommended for any students who received LA (limited achievement) or NR (no report) in any category.

Class e-mail id is xyz@al-haadi.ca where x = D or Q for Dinyat or Quran, y = 1-12 for Grade, and z = A or B (see parents portal).

Feb. 25 (wiladat of 12th Imam (ajtf):
We are planning a fun day for all students to celebrate the wiladat. Activities include tour of the “Know our Imam” exhibition as well as a charity drive to pack gift bags of toiletries for families in need, in the name of our beloved Imam(ajtf). Kindly gather the following items for donation and bring on Feb. 25:
Toiletries: soaps, lotions, deodorants, tooth brushes, toothpaste, dental floss, combs, hair brushes.
