Many thanks to all who participated in the recitation of Holy Quran during the month of Ramadhan. Alhamdulillah, all surahs were taken and khatmal Quran dua was recited on Sunday, May 1st.
Online classes will be held Sunday, May 8th for all grades.

Grades 1-7 onsite madrassah on May 15
Alhamdulillah, we will be holding madrassah onsite for grades 1-7 on Sunday, May 15, 2022 only, at Jaffari Community Centre 9000 Bathurst Street, Vaughan.
Kindly make arrangements to drop off your child(ren) by 10:30 am and pickup up at 2:30 pm. A pizza lunch will be provided; if any student has dietary restrictions please send an packed lunch.
Volunteers are preparing a fun day, with activities focused on Being a Resilient Muslim and Wudhu/Salaat. InshaAllah, there will also be a puppet show for Grades 1-4 by Zakira Shyrose Jaffer Dhalla. For Grades 5-7, a session on Bulugh and Social Hijab will be included.
If you have not yet registered your child, please do so as soon as possible to ensure we have enough material/lunch.
There will be regular online classes for Grades 8-12.

Community Service Award Update
Al-Haadi Study Centre Community Service Award period for students in Grades 1-12 has been extended and all volunteering hours from August 1, 2021 – May 31, 2022 can be counted towards this year’s award. Application for the award must be submitted, latest, by June 1, 2022. A form has been posted in Dinyat Google Classrooms which students need to submit by June 1st in order to apply for the award.
Charity Campaign
MashaAllah, total collected as of May 3, 2022: $11,508.65.
Thank you for your fundraising activities and donations to help provide WATER AID in remote areas and to SUPPORT ORPHANS, WIDOWS & VULNERABLE CHILDREN. The month of Ramadhan is an excellent time to donate to this worthy cause.

Tips for Success
The month of Ramadhan was perfect for establishing new habits. Encourage children to continue the new habit. Share with your children one habit you plan to continue and encourage children to pick one too. Help each other to accomplish the new habit with gentle, friendly reminders and encouragement.
