We hope that everyone is well and that all of us are getting the most of the blessed month of Ramadhan. Reminder, we are closed until end of Ramadhan and online classes, will resume, inshaAllah, on May 8th. This update includes:

Grades 1-7 onsite madrassah on May 15
Alhamdulillah, we will be holding madrassah onsite for grades 1-7 on Sunday, May 15, 2022 only, at Jaffari Community Centre 9000 Bathurst Street, Vaughan.
Kindly make arrangements to drop off your child(ren) by 10:30 am and pickup up at 2:30 pm. A pizza lunch will be provided; if any student has dietary restrictions please send an packed lunch.
Volunteers are preparing a fun day, with activities focused on Being a Resilient Muslim and Wudhu/Salaat. InshaAllah, there will also be a puppet show for Grades 1-4 by Zakira Shyrose Jaffer Dhalla. For Grades 5-7, a session on Bulugh and Social Hijab will be included.
To ensure we have enough material/lunch, please register your child for this event if you have not already done so; a separate form is required for each child.
There will be regular online classes for Grades 8-12.

Annual Quran Recitation for Ahlul Bayt (a) and Marhumeen
As in past years, all students, parents, and volunteers are welcome to share in the recitation of the Holy Quran during the month of Ramadhan. This year, we’re dedicating the recitation as follows:
– gift to Ahlul Bayt (a)
– thawab for Marhum Shiraz Abdulrasul Noormohammed (past AHSC volunteer)
– thawab for all volunteers who have passed away
– thawab for Marhumeen of all reciters
– thawab for all Marhumeen who don’t have anyone to pray for them.

Community Service Award Update
Al-Haadi Study Centre Community Service Award period has been extended and all volunteering hours from August 1, 2021 – May 31, 2022 can be counted towards this year’s award. Application for the award must be submitted, latest, by June 1, 2022. A form will be posted in Dinyat Google Classrooms by end of April, in order to apply for the award.
Charity Campaign
MashaAllah, total collected as of Apr. 19, 2022: $11,428.65.
Thank you for your fundraising activities and donations to help provide WATER AID in remote areas and to SUPPORT ORPHANS, WIDOWS & VULNERABLE CHILDREN. The month of Ramadhan is an excellent time to donate to this worthy cause.

Tips for Success
The month of Ramadhan is perfect for establishing new habits. Share with your children one habit you would like to adopt starting this month, and encourage children to pick one too. Help each other to accomplish the new habit with gentle, friendly reminders and encouragement.
